Focus Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct Sales:
- Develop strong relationships at the Focus account to build a strong partnership for expanding the business opportunities across all divisions.
- Develop and implement an account plan to grow the revenues at the account above market average.
- Deliver on bookings and revenues on the Annual Sales Plan in line with Sales budget defined.
- Be accountable for the commercial performance of the Focus account.
- Monitor product mix performance and implement corrective measures where necessary.
- Build a robust pipeline and provide an accurate forecast with focus on growing the share of wallet for all Thermo Fisher Business.
- Work with the BU sales teams to manage price / performance matrix and optimize & capture price where possible.
- Take a hands-on approach, and act as escalation point for all customer and system issues.
- Collaborate with Service In charge to develop joint initiatives for improvement of Customer Satisfaction Scores.
- Works with cross divisional teams to meet the objectives and goals of the focus account program
- Liaise with all Thermo Fisher departments to improve processes.
- Plans and executes necessary seminars, meetings etc with Focus Decision makers of the account, along with respective divisions in India.
Educational Qualifications:
- Post Graduate / Graduate preferably in science with Focus Account Management experience.
- MBA / Management qualification preferred.
- Work experience of 10 -12 years
- Strong domain knowledge of Pharma/Bio Pharma market with proven experience in handling major Focus accounts in these markets.
- In depth knowledge of Pharma work flow solutions .
- Understanding of the growth drivers in Pharma/BioPharma sector.
- Experience of managing Focus relationships, execution of contracts in the Focus accounts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Has the experience in leading teams and mentoring them.
- Is a self starter and drives actions with passion.
- Has very strong convincing and influencing skills.
- Have strong analytical skills.
